We teach the Royal Life Saving Society UK awards scheme and have classes from Rookie through to Distinction.  All classes are taught by fully qualified RLSS UK trainers.  These classes run on Friday evenings during the school terms at Fore St Pool, Fore Street, Ipswich. The normal class times are:

7:00 - 8:00 Rookie Lifesavers

7:30 - 8:30 Bronze Medallion Classes

8:30 - 9:30 Higher Awards and specialist training (i.e. lifeguard or competition)

We always welcome new members to the club, but on occasion it has been necessary to operate a waiting list, especially for the more popular awards. Please contact the membership secretary for a place as soon as possible, and we will be pleased to discuss the details of duration of the course, costs and requisite fitness levels, etc.

Open Water Training is given in the summer at Felixstowe in conjunction with the Felixstowe RLSS Lifeguard Club. All club members are welcome to get that open water experience (Cold, Wet, Cold, Tired and did I mention Cold).
